Bobby Wills

As an outdoorsman since the age of 8, Bobby Wills developed a love of the outdoors that soon grew into a career shortly after receiving his first retriever in 1987. Loving the experience and work, Bobby founded Moonshine Kennels in 1989. Bobby is now a member of the Lone Oak Retrievers team, partnering with J. Paul Jackson and turning Moonshine Kennels into Lone Oak Retrievers East.

Today, Bobby runs a very successful kennel in Greenfield Tennessee, and trains not only hunting dogs, but competes in field trials, hunt tests, and the Super Retriever Series. He has won first place in the American Retriever Classic both in the spring and fall of 2009.

Bobby has also contributed training articles to outdoors magazines. He enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years, Helen, and three children Jacob, Jenny, and Samantha. Bobby also has four grandsons: Austin, Levi, Carson, and Carter. He is waiting for the day he can introduce them to the outdoors.
