My brother-in-law introduced me to waterfowling in the boot heel of Missouri. It was freezing cold, windy, and miserable. I loved every minute of it. After killing my first duck I was addicted. Since then I spend the off season thinking about the upcoming season and getting ready for it. I have turkey hunted in the past and occasionally spend some time with a fly rod. But my passion is duck hunting. I reside in southwest Missouri which is not historically known as a honey hole for waterfowl. However, there are ducks here; you just have to know how to find them. I hunt all over the state of Missouri but always enjoy going back to the boot heel the most. I am a full time paramedic by profession and a graphic designer by trade. I own and operate 417 DUX. I specialize in custom waterfowl/retriever decals, logos, and design. If I can't be out duck hunting, I spend my time drawing, designing waterfowl logos, and decals for others.
