How many days a year do you hunt: approximately 60, not as much as I used to, and no as much as I would like to.
Favorite Hunting Area: Flooded fields in Arkansas.
Favorite Style of Waterfowl Hunting: Hunting with fellow water fowlers in the pit blinds. However, the woods are really fun too! Or in fact anywhere I am welcome!!
Gun of Choice: My Benelli Super 90 or my Benelli Super Black Eagle.
Favorite Drake Product: Hard to pick a favorite, they are all great products because the people who design them are HUNTERS!! However I especially like the Drake Waterfowl Systems Double- Banded Blind Bag with Intelli-Light and my Drake LST Eqwader Waders.
Favorite Duck/Goose call: Echo's Prime Meat
Proudest Achievement: Other than my wife and children?? Has to be when I won the 2008 Georgia Duck Calling Championship and qualified for the World's Contest in Stuttgart, AR

I have devoted the better part of the last 30 years to hunting everything from dove to big game. I have benefited from being around some of the greatest hunters (and story tellers) in the nation. It is important to collect all types of hunting styles and make them your own, because no two days of hunting are ever alike. Waterfowl hunting is one of my greatest passions. I am so excited to be a part of one of the best waterfowl gear companies in the world, Drake! Being accepted by Drake as a Field Expert is truly an honor. I know that some of the finest waterfowlers and hunters around represent Drake and their partner companies, Ol'Tom, McAlister, and Rut Wear. I am so proud to be a part of that!

In addition to hunting A LOT, I also am a full time taxidermist, specializing in waterfowl and turkey mounts. I meet hunters every day and I am always interested in hearing the latest hunting story, whether tall tale or not. I am happily married to my wife Ellen, who also hunts (and lets me hunt!). We have two beautiful children - our daughter, Jessie, who is 13 years old and our son Wyatt who is 1 year old. Jesse loves to hunt and Wyatt has had an Echo duck call in his mouth since he was ten minutes old --- REALLY!
