Curt Meppelink got involved in waterfowl hunting in 1985.He has waterfowl hunted in Michigan, Mississippi, North Dakota and Canada. He enjoys a variety of hunting experiences including layout hunting, field hunting, big water hunting, as well as traditional marsh and timber hunting for waterfowl.

Curt's greatest passion is waterfowl hunting and he enjoys competition calling, sharing a love for waterfowl hunting with his two sons by teaching them to handle a gun, calling ducks and geese (both boys have competed in calling contests) and hunting.

Curt loves the thrill of the hunt and often counts down the days to hunting season or a hunting trip! He was a Drake customer ever since the first year and is honored to be on the Drake pro-staff.
