I began going out hunting with my dad at 6 years of age. Only allowed to carry a BB gun, graduated to a 410, and then to a shotgun. He taught me how to love the outdoors. I met my husband Todd, who has the hunting passion born into him. Together we have become a hunting team along with our 2 labs Cooter and Bailey.
I live for the outdoors, hunting and fishing. It's the morning excitement and anticipation of the hunt, the decoy spread, the sunrise and sunset, and just doing what I love. Hunting over water is my favorite but my layout blind in a cornfield is right behind. I also hunt deer, turkey, and grouse. I get out every chance I can. Our season is 60 days and I average about 40. I do an annual 10 day hunt in South Dakota, and try to follow the birds south to Nebraska in our late season when lakes freeze up. September through December, I will be out there.
I am a member of the MN Duck & Goose Callers Assoc, and am active on the board. I am a contest duck caller and have helped run various contests.
The innovations and quality of Drake Waterfowl products has helped to make my hunts warm and comfortable. Before I became a member of the Drake Team, I already believed in their product
