I was born and raised in Arkansas with my dad taking me duck hunting on the St. Francis River. I began hunting at around five years old. I would have to stand on milk crates to be tall enough to see out of the duck blind. Growing up in 'the life' fostered my love of ducks, hunting, and ultimately, duck calling. I have also been a duck guide in Arkansas for 20 years. I enjoy working with kids and people interested in learning to call ducks.

In addition to being current back to back World Live Duck Calling Champion, I was the 1999 and 2000 back to back World Two Man Team Duck Calling Champion. Over the years I have been a National Champion, National Two Man Team Champion, and US Open Champion. I have won or placed in well over one hundred duck calling contests. I have also won in over fifteen different states in duck calling.

I have judged many duck and goose calling contests and have been a part of hosting an outdoor and sports show. I have been on several outdoor shows, and also featured in Ducks Unlimited and Field and Stream Magazines. I currently have a new signature duck call out with Echo Calls named Prime Meat. I am on the last three hunting DVD's with Echo. Currently, I am working on a new instructional duck calling DVD to be available later in the year.

At this time in my life, I am single but a very proud father to three wonderful children, Mallory, Drake, and Christian. I am also a new grandfather to Cayden, Mallory’s son. I currently live and work in Mississippi, and enjoy being out in the public and meeting new people. Every year I try to spend the majority of duck season hunting.
