My wife, Katie, and I reside in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains with our chocolate lab, Jackson. Katie and I both grew up in Northeast Georgia and are proud to call this home.

I was fortunate to start my hunting "career" at a very young age as I grew up in a family of hunters. I have fond memories of bird hunting with my father and grandfather. Later in life, it was off to the swamps and marshes of Georgia chasing those coveted wood ducks. The good Lord has blessed me with the ability to travel throughout North America in search of whistling wings.

I am the happiest when I'm outdoors…but the best time of my life occurs during a 60-day period every year. Jackson and I enjoy our time together in the blind as well as at the numerous hunt tests we visit each year in the Southeast. The best conservation tool in the field is a well-trained dog, something I believe and practice. Furthermore, my exposure and commitment to retriever training has opened new doors for me and has presented an avenue to live a passion that few get to experience.

Ducks Unlimited is an integral part of my life and is something I am passionately devoted to. I believe in our mission, I believe we are making a difference, and I believe that we can achieve our dream of wetlands sufficient to fill the skies with waterfowl today, tomorrow, and forever. As a volunteer for DU I strive to raise funds to aid this vision.

I routinely expose myself to some of the toughest hunting environments known to man that require that I seek the best products on the market.
