I love them all. But, the one thing I wouldn't want to do without is the LST Underwear. I wear that everywhere, all the time. The top I wear as a base layer, alone, or even sometimes as a light jacket. Also, my Windproof Layering Vest. Favorite Duck/Goose call: I'm not a great caller. I admit it. But, it seems like I am usually grabbing one of my Haydel call's more often than anything else for Ducks. For Canada's, I like a handmade call by Brian Hansen, from Watertown, SD. Proudest Achievement: Of course my proudest achievements involve my Family. I also take a lot of pride in breeding some of the best British Labrador Retriever Gundogs in the U.S.A. as Owner / Operator of Wildwind British Labradors. We take a lot of pride in selectively breeding the very best available British Field Trial pedigree's and test them for superior health. Then, placing those pup's with high quality families that go on to love, hunt, and enjoy their new pup as part of their family. From as early as I can remember, I loved being outdoors, and hunting. As a little kid, I use to go hunting with my Dad, and Uncle. We didn't get out a lot, so when we did, it was a BIG deal. I remember from those very early day's anticipating, and planning for the hunt. I couldn't sleep the night before waiting for the big day. My first memories are from when I was too young to carry a gun, but evidently old enough to fill the role of "dog". Since those very early day's I have had a passion for hunting, and enjoyed everything about it. Mostly, the opportunity to spend quality time with family, and friends. In my early teens' we moved to Lexington, NE., along the Platte River. This is when my hunting interests started to shift primarily to waterfowl. My interest and commitment continues to grow till this day. My other passion has also always been my dog. I feel that the hunt just wouldn't be worth it for the most part if you can't share that experience with your best friend. Your dog. My dog of choice has always been a good Labrador Retriever. More recently, a "British Labrador Retriever". About ten years ago, my family and I started our own small breeding kennel "Wildwind British Labradors". Our mission is to produce pups from the highest quality British Field Trial pedigrees available. We have continued to slowly grow, and improve as we strive to produce the highest quality British Gundog's, with superior health. Making them available to people that want a true, properly bred, British Labrador Retriever that is "As enjoyable in the home as it is in the field". Through my love of the outdoors in general, along with hunting, and all other dog activities, such as training, testing, exercising, Urban Search & Rescue, etc. I am outside all the time, year around. I started purchasing Drake Waterfowl gear several years ago due to its superior quality, along with its technological advancements. I have also purchased several items from Drakes partner company, McAlister. McAlister has several products which I wear for my everyday training gear. The quality is very evident after several years of continuous wear.
