I am just getting into duck hunting for the first time this year and I bought these waders on a recommendation from a friend and I couldn’t be more pleased, they are very warm, I’ve sat in the water for 6 hours straight in below freezing weather and my bottom half never got even the slightest bit cold. the magnetic chest pockets make for super quick and easy access to shells, phone, etc. So far I absolutely love these and will be coming back to Drake for any other hunting needs.

Best waders I’ve worn! After a full season of them hunting in Manitoba, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Oklahoma, these stood up to the variety of climates and elements that input them through. Comfortable boot, light enough to wear with shorts for early teal season, and easy to layer under for hunting frozen backwaters of the Mississippi River.

Gibson’s Ring of Fire, “Split”, made my long weekend complete this morning by retrieving 3 wood ducks on his first legit waterfowl hunt. He climbed up in the MoMarsh this morning like he had been doing it his whole life and started scanning the sky. It was almost like he had been waiting his whole life for this very moment. At only 10 weeks old he would retrieve ducks I would bring home from Belle’s hunts as many times as you would throw them. I’ve been waiting for this day for over a year and it was special. The day was made even more memorable as I was able to get eagle_eye_1994 and Bretta out on their first duck hunt, thanks to an invite from a good waterfowling buddy. God is truly good. This weekend could not have went any better if I had scripted it. Truly blessed beyond measure.
